Euro 2024 group stages are coming to an end with only a few teams having yet to secure their ticket to the last 16. While we are waiting for the remaining teams to fight for the qualifying slots to the last 16, we can have a quick review on which teams have secured their slot to the last 16.
Which Teams Have Qualified for the Last 16?
- Group A
With a 2-0 win over Hungary, the host of Euro 2024 Germany become the first team to secure their place in the knockout stage. Switzerland follows closely and have a high possibility of becoming the second and only team to the last 16 of group A.
- Group B

- Group C
Although England are through to the last 16 as the top seed of group C, many are not satisfied with its disastrous performance, especially having a star-dubbed player like Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, Cole Palmer and others. On the other hand, Denmark finished second despite drew 0-0 with Serbia.
- Group D
Poland team under the captaincy of Robert Lewandowski exited Euro 2024 in shock, what’s even surprising is that Austria has not only qualified for the knockout stage, but also topped the group because France could only muster a 1-1 draw against Poland that is out of shape in their final group game.
- Group E
Romania, Belgium, and Slovakia through the round of 16 with Ukraine exits Euro 2024 after goalless draw with Belgium.
- Group F
Portugal triumph as the winner of group F and advanced to the last 16 in style. Turkey through to the round of 16 as runner-up and Georgia got their hands on the last ticket to the round of 16 as the best third-place team.

The four best third-placed teams will advance to the round of 16. It will be determined by the points they picked up in their respective group. In the event of a draw, the winner will be decided by goal difference and then goals scored.
