Switzerland vs Italy
Switzerland pulled off one of the biggest upsets in Euro 2024 by defeating the reigning champions Italy with a stunning 2:0 victory. With that, Switzerland through to the quarterfinals for the second time in their history and will face England in the next round, marks the end of Italy’s appearance in Euro 2024.
Germany vs Denmark
The host of Euro 2024 Germany secured their ticket to the quarterfinals of Euro 2024 with a 2:0 lead over Denmark. Kai Havertz and Jamal Musiala’s second half goals sent Germany into the quarterfinals, ended the highly competitive match in Die Mannschaft’s favour. Germany will be facing Spain in the quarterfinals.
England vs Slovakia
England was one step away from being eliminated until Real Madrid’s star Jude Bellingham scored a stunning bicycle kick goal to equalize the score to 1:1 in the second half. Harry Kane scored the comeback goal in the first minute of extra time, saved the Three Lions from early exit from Euro 2024.
Spain vs Georgia
The underdog story of Georgia ends when Spain scored 4:1 against Georgia to secure their slot in the quarterfinals. Although Robin Le Normand accidentally conceded an early own goal in the 18th minute that given Georgia a unexpected lead, but his teammate, Rodri, Fabin Ruiz, Nico Williams, and Dani Olmo made it up for him by scoring two goals in the first half and two goals in the second half.
