The world-renowned striker was officially unveiled at sold-out Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Nearly 80,000 fans witnessed Kylian Mbappé wear the No.9 jersey during the presentation, following the same path as his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
“For years I’ve dreamed of playing for Real Madrid and today my dream has come true. I’m a happy boy. I’m going to give my life for this club.” said the former Paris Saint-German player, present Real Madrid striker.
At the end of his speech, Mbappé gave a tribute to his idol by leading the fans in a chorus of “one, two, three… Hala Madrid”, just as Ronaldo did in 2009.
